Who is responsible?

The Rewind is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact craig@tshirtcandy.com with any privacy question or request.

What we collect

• Your Telegram user ID and basic profile details.
• The messages, reminders and links you choose to save.
• Your email address and newsletter preferences.
• Records of saved and sent items.
• Feedback you choose to send through the bot.
• Limited technical logs needed to keep the service secure.

Please do not send sensitive personal information to the bot.

How we use it

We use this information to organise and summarise what you save, create your weekend digest, deliver it to your verified email address, manage your preferences, understand feedback, improve the service and protect it from misuse.

Automated tools, including AI, may process the content you submit to categorise and summarise it. They do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We process information to provide the service you request, for our legitimate interests in operating it safely, with consent where required, and where necessary to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We use Telegram to receive messages, Google Cloud and Firebase to run the service and process saved content, and Postmark to deliver email. Other websites or public data services may receive a search or link request when needed to enrich something you saved. We do not intentionally give those sources your email address or Telegram ID.

Some providers may process information outside the UK using appropriate legal safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Your profile, email address, preferences, saved items, feedback and digest records remain until you delete your account. Unsubscribing stops automatic email but does not delete these records. Short-lived verification and feedback-capture states expire after 15 minutes. Providers may retain delivery records, security logs and backups for their own limited retention periods.

Your choices and rights

• Use /unsubscribe or the link in an email to stop automatic delivery.
• Use /delete in a private bot chat to delete your Rewind account and stored data.
• Email craig@tshirtcandy.com to request access, correction, export, restriction or to object to how your information is used.

Other information

This website does not currently use cookies or analytics. The Rewind is not intended for anyone under 18. We may update this policy as the service changes and will change the date above when we do.
